Hey, way to bounce back from technology! Apple isn't the only one that fecks up when it comes to audio - Vista's new mixer doesn't allow for things like audio feedback or input selection... at least not reliably!
One thing on Obama - you said, "he's not a bad guy, I'd vote for him if I was a democrat."
DUDE... don't go there! He's further to the left than the Hildabeast! His speeches are nothing more than hot air... "We believe in change and we can effect change because we believe and all we have to do is believe and we will have change." (*wobble*)
He's got issues that scare the crap out of me... universal healthcare, immediate removal of troops from Iraq, lack of understanding of State's Rights, tax increases, etc.
What's even scarier is his supporters... they treat him like a rock star or more... http://obamamessiah.blogspot.com/
Obama is NOT "a nice guy" and if elected it's going to take a LOT of Republican pressure in the house and senate to stop him from doing some very scary things. Why do you think that some folks are telling republicans in late (but open) primary states to go in and vote for Hillary? Because at least she is a known factor, he's so green there's no telling what he'd do.
